Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how LITFANTASY LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when using LitFantasy (the “Service”). We built LitFantasy as a fantasy football research and draft assistant. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: When you sign up or sign in, we collect your email address through Amazon Cognito authentication. This is used to identify your account and communicate with you.
  • Draft data: Your draft state is stored in AWS DynamoDB when you are signed in, so you can save, resume, and sync your drafts across devices.
  • Local storage: We store cookie consent state in your browser’s local storage. Anonymous users’ draft state may also be kept locally in the browser to preserve your work without an account.
  • Automatic data: Our hosting infrastructure (CloudFront and AWS Lambda access logs) may record your IP address, user-agent, requested paths, and timestamps for operational and security purposes.
  • Analytics data: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Plausible reports aggregate visitor statistics without tracking individuals across sites.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the LitFantasy Service;
  • Authenticate users and maintain signed-in sessions;
  • Save and synchronize draft data across your devices;
  • Monitor service health, diagnose errors, and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations; and
  • Communicate service updates, security notices, or policy changes.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

LitFantasy uses cookies only to keep you signed in through Amazon Cognito. These authentication cookies are strictly necessary for the Service. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.

If we enable Google AdSense in the future, Google and its partners may place advertising or measurement cookies on your device. Ad personalization and cookie behavior for users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom will be managed through Google’s Consent Management Platform. You can manage your Google ad preferences at any time via Google Ads Settings.

Advertising

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted by law. Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom will see consent choices handled through Google’s Consent Management Platform.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. Some jurisdictions additionally require us to note that third-party vendors may use data about your visits to this and other websites to provide relevant advertisements.

We may in the future work with additional advertising networks, affiliate programs, or third-party partners. When we do, we will update this Privacy Policy and, for material changes, notify registered users.
